house + dental practice

This house with dental practice near Brussels was one of the first houses we built as architects. The plot of land was very challenging. It has a triangular shape and a steep slope. The shape of the terrain has an intense connection with the architectural layout of the project. Since the practice needed to fit into the building and the nice view was situated at the front on the other side of the street, the living spaces were placed on the first floor level instead of ground floor. Warm materials such as typical flemish bricks and red copper give the house a timeless appearance.
