Metamorphic Art Studio – European Cultural Centre in Palazzo Mora
“Tijdens de prestigieuze tentoonstelling van het European Cultural Centre (ECC) in Palazzo Mora, gelijklopend met de Architectuurbiënnale van Venetië, stelt het Belgische Metamorphic Art Studio het baanbrekende Periscope-project tentoon: een visionair én tegelijk realiseerbaar architecturaal concept dat duurzaamheid en technische innovatie op een unieke manier weet te combineren.
The Periscope project, which has already received multiple international awards, is not merely a utopian vision. Through a working model—a technically refined and detailed representation of the final building—it becomes clear that the design is not only future-oriented but also feasibly executable within current technical and social contexts. This metamorphosing scale model forms the beating heart of the Belgian entry at Palazzo Mora and effectively illustrates the translation from concept to practice.
