Strategic adjustments have significantly lowered the level of the garden and living spaces, resulting in high ceilings and an abundance of natural light. This intervention blurs the boundaries between inside and outside, creating an open, spatial experience.
A hidden surprise awaits atop the garage building: a discreetly built-in swimming pool. This invisible addition to the small garden brings a delightful holiday feeling, an oasis of tranquility that remains invisible from the street but is palpable at every moment. The design exudes warmth and refinement through the use of natural materials such as wood, concrete with a plank structure, and natural stone. This harmonious combination gives the interior a timeless charm and an inviting atmosphere.
As part of a duo of terraced houses, both owned by the same family, a wooden sliding door has been installed connecting the gardens. This clever detail offers flexibility: the gardens can be combined for children’s play space, or separated for more privacy. This renovation and expansion demonstrate how traditional and contemporary elements can be perfectly balanced.
